ONCOLOGY THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM
A novel small molecule approach that
starves cancer cells by blocking the energy they need to grow.
Targets the bioenergetic vulnerability of cancer cells.
Blocks ATP production, eliminating the energy cancer cells need to survive.
Designed to minimize impact on normal cells.
Advancing a new class of cancer therapeutics for companion animals.
HOW HALIRA™ WORKS
Halira™ is a small molecule compound that penetrates cancer cells and disrupts the coupling of the electron transport chain (ETC) and ATP synthase, leading to a severe drop in ATP production. Without energy, cancer cells cannot grow, replicate, or survive.
Normal Cellular Energy Production
With Halira™
SCIENTIFIC RATIONALE
Cancer cells have extremely high energy demands to sustain rapid growth and replication. By shutting down ATP production, Halira™ exploits this dependency and induces metabolic collapse—leading to tumor cell death.
Cancer cells consume far more ATP than normal cells.
Blocking ATP production is a powerful strategy to kill cancer cells.
Potential for broad application across various cancer types.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Halira™ is currently in preclinical development with robust in vitro and in vivo data demonstrating potent anti-tumor activity and a favorable safety profile.
IN VITRO & IN VIVO RESULTS
Halira™ represents a new class of energy-targeting therapeutics. Our mission is to bring innovative, effective, and safe cancer treatments to our beloved companion animals, improving both quality and length of life.
Halira™ is an investigational product and is not approved for any clinical use.
